Sonoma unveiling two show suites
Arrival and Boulevard floor plans launch at Nolan Hill development
Potential buyers now can see what’s possible at an award-wining townhome development in Nolan Hill. Sonoma at Nolan Hill will raise the curtain on its first two show suites at noon Saturday.
The development by Morrison Homes Multi-Family Division is a 106-townhome project on Nolan Hill Drive N.W. After breaking ground on construction in late November of last year, Sonoma now unveils its Arrival and Boulevard floor plans as show suites.
The Boulevard picked up an award for Best New Design Villa/ Duplex/Townhome up to 1,199 square feet at this year’s Canadian Home Builders’ Association-Calgary Region SAM (Sales and Marketing) Awards.
“We are excited to be introducing our newly designed Boulevard unit, which features two bedrooms and two bathrooms,” says Rob Kennedy, vice-president of Morrison Homes Multi-Family Division, adding the new design also includes an increased living area and exterior deck off the kitchen.
The Boulevard measures 1,183 square feet. “This is our most popular unit so far …” Kennedy adds.
The Arrival is 1,173 square feet with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. There’s also the option for a fourth bedroom in the basement.
“(It) boasts an impressive floorto-ceiling cabinet upgrade that enhances the features and finishes that are possible with our mix and match colour board option,” says Kennedy of the Arrival. “We are proud to be one of the only multifamily builders that offers customers the options to customize their townhome design selections from five unique colour boards.”
Sonoma’s opening phase is now sold out and its second release will coincide with the opening of the new show suites, says Kennedy. He says there are a number of reasons the development has been well received this far.
“Sonoma at Nolan Hill is nestled in one of the nicest parts of Nolan Hill, surrounded by green space and walking pathways. It is minutes from the farmers’ market and within walking distance of the newest shopping centre,” says Kennedy.
Nolan Hill is a community in northwest Calgary that’s masterplanned by United Communities. It offers a number of housing segments, including multi- family development, laned and frontattached garage homes.
“Starting at only $ 1,433 per month, it is a great deal for firsttime home buyers,” Kennedy says.
The Sonoma sales centre and show suites are open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
