Thank you so very much for your wonderful article! I consider myself blessed in the extreme, having attended this event six times. I’ve tried to explain the attraction, but your article embodied the wonders as I never could.

My last visit, last year, was by RV. It appears that retirement brings a reduction in cash flow, and as a hobby, flying isn’t cheap.

I’ve had a great number of jaw- dropping moments during the air shows. A frequent thought is “hold on there — you can’t actually do what you just did with an airplane!”

I have also found the American traffic controller­s to be friendly and helpful. Thanks for the memories. Maybe next year. Jack Falk, Calgary
