Notley shows good pipeline instincts

-

Re: “Notley giving Washington, D.C., a pass on first foreign visit,” Graham Thomson, Opinion, Sept. 25.

Although I am no fan of Premier Rachel Notley and the NDP, I have to give her credit for having the wisdom to bypass Washington, D.C., and focus instead on the Energy East and Kinder Morgan pipelines.

It should be apparent by now that U.S. President Barack Obama is a stubborn man and is never going to approve Keystone, so it is wise to focus where there may be a chance of success.

I note that Notley is going to New York, though. Isn’t that where you go to borrow money?
