It had to happen — summer is over and it’s back to fall routines. Now’s the time to focus on the months ahead, set goals and get organized. Seems like September is the new Jan. 1.

At my office, I like to make sure, whenever possible, that furniture and décor pieces serve a dual duty — with function and style. Office spaces don’t need to be utilitarian spaces that just house your desk, chair and files. These spaces need to have style and be inspirational. That said, most of us inevitably run short on space, so our furniture should have storage just as our storage should have style.

This month I am focusing on those items that will have a stellar impact in your office but also will serve a purpose.
