Beauty and the Beast
Vincent (Jay Ryan) is put to the test — actually, a whole battery of them — in the new episode Means to an End. The would-be beast buyer wants to see just what he might be getting, but Vincent plays it cagey in a bid to avoid confirming his true nature. Cat, J.T. and Heather (Kristin Kreuk, Austin Basis, Nicole Gale Anderson) continue their efforts on the intended behalf of Vincent. (Showcase)
CHOPPED
A new season opens with Fried Chicken Time, in which the beloved comfort food makes an appearance in all three rounds. First, the chefs must use a weird syrup and a savoury pancake in their fried bird appetizers. Then, in Round 2, peach cobbler is a required side component of the entree challenge. The final round, which may qualify as too much of a good thing, tasks the two finalists with devising a fried chicken-themed dessert. It’s followed by a new episode of Cutthroat Kitchen.
