Outdoor firepits are a health hazard
Here it is midnight on Saturday night. I went to bed, leaving all my windows open because of it being so hot out.
I was just awakened, choking on smoke that filled my house as I slept. Thanks, ignorant and selfish neighbours, who again thought only of their own pleasure.
Now I have a closed throat, burning lungs and had to use a puffer to breathe.
Thanks, mayor and councillors, who do not care about people’s health and continue to condone wood-burning firepits. Perhaps as people show up in hospital emergency departments, someone will take notice of the hazards of these blasted firepits and do something. Jacqueline Stoop, Calgary
