Allardyce out as England manager
Sam Allardyce has left his position as England manager after only one match in charge after he made a series of damaging comments to undercover reporters. The 61-year-old Allardyce’s deal has been terminated “with immediate effect” by mutual consent with the English Football Association. The Telegraph published video of Allardyce appearing to offer advice on how to sidestep an outlawed player transfer practice and also negotiating a $519,000 public-speaking contract, with reporters posing as businessmen.
