Mondays: The Calgary Diamond Way Buddhist Centre, at 7628 Elbow Dr. S.W. ( behind Starbucks), holds public meditation­s at 7: 30 p. m. We offer 10- minute talks on basic Buddhist teachings and then we meditate together. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost.

Mondays: Diamond Way Buddhism Calgary hosts a half-hour Introducti­on to Buddhism talk at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month. Our regular Monday night meditation evening then begins at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost. We are located at 7628 Elbow Dr. S.W.

Tuesdays: Brush With The Spirit: With a BFA, M Div and more than 25 years of French restaurant experience, our facilitato­r offers unique programs that combine culinary and visual arts. Thursdays: Beginning Feb. 9, Transition­s is a 15-week peer support program serving those who have recently separated or divorced. The session will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Catholic Pastoral Centre, 120 17th Ave. S.W.
