Two people found dead in city’s southeast
Calgary police are investigating after two people were found dead in the city’s southeast Tuesday evening.
Police say at about 7:30 p.m., they were called to a business at 19th Avenue by 35th Street S.E.
When officers arrived, they found two deceased people.
“The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a possible suspicious death,” Acting Det. Antoinette McIntyre said.
McIntyre said homicide detectives are investigating and more details will be released when they become available.
An area around an auto service business, including a travel trailer, was cordoned of with crime-scene tape Tuesday evening as ofcers investigated.
A woman who lives across the street said she was shocked to hear the news of the deaths.
“That’s kind of scary,” said Sarah Gurdivaniuk.
“I’m shocked to know that there’s two people found dead.”
