BUILDERS RECOGNIZED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Awards based on feedback from buyers and partners
Seven Calgary builders are in the spotlight for providing a top-flight customer experience, paced by Cedarglen Homes and Homes by Avi earning two awards each.
Winners of the seventh annual CustomerInsight HOME (Home Owner Mark of Excellence) Awards were announced at the Carriage House Inn on March 30.
Homes by Avi and Cedarglen were deadlocked as winners for the Builder of Choice award among Calgary companies and tied in their respective categories for Best Custom Experience.
For Cedarglen, this was the second straight year winning a Best Customer Experience award. This year, the builder tied Broadview Homes for top spot in the category for single-family home builders in Calgary and the surrounding area with 101 to 249 possessions.
“Our processes work, we have the right team in place, the delivery of our customer experience is sustainable,” says Cedarglen president Howard Tse.
The Best Customer Experience categories are based on feedback from buyers in two surveys, including both one month and 13 months after possession.
The Builder of Choice award also counts customer feedback but uses evaluations from employees and trade partners, as well.
Along with tying for the Builder of Choice title, Homes by Avi deadlocked Sterling Homes for the Best Customer Experience award recognizing single-family builders with 250 or more possessions.
“Homes by Avi was founded on the guiding principle of customer satisfaction with the most important home we build, be the one for you, the customer,” says Alice Mateyko, president of Homes by Avi, Alberta’s single-family division.
Veteran multi-family builder Cardel Lifestyles won for best customer experience among multi- family builders with 116 or more possessions for a third straight year.
“I am proud of my team’s accomplishments on winning the customer experience award again,” says Tim Logel, president of Cardel Lifestyles.
In smaller volume categories for best customer experience, Morrison Homes (Sonoma) and luxury builder Lupi Homes walked away with hardware.
Lupi landed the trophy for single-family builders with five to 100 possessions, and Morrison Homes (Sonoma) won for five to 115 possessions among multi- family builders.
