No condo fees at Townes of Redstone
A seasoned multi-family builder in Calgary is bringing on its first townhome development that doesn’t require condo fees.
Pre-construction sales open at the Townes of Redstone by Streetside Developments on Saturday at noon. Redstone is a masterplanned community by Qualico Communities in northeast Calgary, accessed off Metis Trail and near Stoney Trail.
This is Streetside’s second development in the community, following Kintalla, a 73-unit townhome development, which is sold out.
The new development will comprise 50 two-storey townhomes starting from the mid-$300,000s.
“We are excited to launch the Townes of Redstone, as they are our first foray into the popular Street Townes, which are similar to townhomes, but you own the property and, best of all, there are no condo fees,” says Streetside’s senior marketing co-ordinator Kimberley Orr.
There are six floor plans to pick from, ranging from 1,438 to 1,460 square feet. They have a private, fenced backyard and a single or double detached garage.
These townhomes come in either two-bedroom or three-bedroom formats.
“The Townes floor plans were specifically developed after targeted research into the demographic buyer for Redstone and are perfectly suited to larger generational families with an optional basement development, which adds up to five bedrooms,” Orr says.
The townhomes are available in the buyer’s choice of three colour palettes, described by the builder as Balance, Tranquility and Harmony.

The development will also add to Redstone’s attractive streetscapes, says Orr. “The inspiration for the exteriors is for them to convey a more contemporary look by creating a simplistic yet elegant design,” she adds. “The sharp roof lines coupled with large windows create a strikingly modern feel which fits seamlessly into the neighbourhood.”
A sales centre for the development is at 220 Redstone Street N.E. It’s open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
