VILLA SHOW HOMES OPEN IN HARMONY
Five plans feature attractive, functional designs
People in the market for a villa in the Calgary area have a new opportunity in an award-winning community just west of city limits.
NuVista Homes opened sales on its bungalow villa development in the Springbank community of Harmony earlier this month, and will hold a grand opening launch for two show homes on Saturday.
The development contains 28 villas, with a current starting price of $699,900, including GST. They all have a two-car attached garage and sit on 44-foot lots backing on to a community green space.
The villas come in five floor plans, ranging from 1,444 to 1,720 square feet. In total finished space, these homes can reach 2,750 to over 3,000 square feet.
Attractive, functional designs are key, says sales manager Betty Cosh.
“The open floor plans allow for maximum light and creates a welcoming and spacious area for entertaining or for family time,” she adds.
The show homes, displaying the Cayenne and Saffron models, are located at 3 and 7 Yarrow Gate, respectively.
The Cayenne is 1,537 square feet with a developed lower level that reaches up to 1,268 square feet, and the Saffron is 1,721 square feet with a developed lower level that’s up to 1,358 square feet.
These show homes will be open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
Standards in NuVista’s villas include nine-foot ceilings, tile and hardwood floors, kitchens with granite or quartz counters, and finished basements. There are also covered decks, and a landscaping package with fencing and underground irrigation, says the builder.
The scenic, amenity-stocked lo- cation is another important part of what makes these villas appealing, says Cosh.
“To truly appreciate Harmony, you will need to visit the area,” she says. “The wide open spaces, the incredible mountain view and the proximity to Calgary, all make it one of the best new communities.”
Harmony picked up five trophies at the recent Calgary Region (SAM) Sales and Marketing Awards, including two major honours for land development — New Community of the Year and Community of the Year-Calgary Region.
The community has two connected lake and a wetland area that total 57 hectares. The first phase has been built and is expected to be ready for swimming and nonmotorized watercraft later in 2017.
Harmony will also be home to Mickelson National Golf Club, which is under construction. The course is expected to open its first nine of 18 holes in 2018.
