Array of new suites, townhome show Walden Place to advantage
With the assortment of floor plans at Walden Place, finding something to match the buyer’s needs has never been a difficult task, says the company behind the multifamily development.
“Most of our purchasers love at least two different condo plans because there are so many to choose from,” says Brad Logel, area sales manager at Walden Place.
Now a wider example of that range is on display. Seven show suites displaying condos and one townhome will be unveiled at Walden Place by Cardel Lifestyles on Saturday at noon.
The development is part of the southeast community of Walden, accessed off Stoney Trail and MacLeod Trail, by Genstar Development Co.
“There are so many choices that (potential buyers) can now walk through, see and feel,” says Logel.
Since launching sales in early 2016, Walden Place had one show suite with its sales centre. At press time, the development recorded 99 sales.
With the more extensive lineup, the development can showcase more of its standards and upgrades, says Logel.
“You can see the huge level of customization that’s available,” he says.
“We have a lot of people who have been waiting,” Logel adds. “Now, instead of looking at a drawing — and the drawing looks good — let’s walk you into the plan, and then all these other show suites.”
In total, the development has 11 options in the apartment-style condo segment and one townhome.
Walden Place is displaying a 544-square-foot floor plan with one bedroom and one bathroom, a 624-square-foot floor plan with two bedrooms and one bathroom, a 654-square-foot condo with two bedrooms and one bathroom, an 817-square-foot condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms measuring 897 square feet.
There are also two corner units; one that’s 950 square feet and another that’s 1,021 square feet.
The starting prices on the standard version of these show suites range from $154,900 and $284,900, before the tax.
The townhome, starting in size from 1,542 square feet, has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and a den, and is available from $ 339,900, also before GST. It comes with a double car attached garage.
“There’s a lot of storage,” says Logel. There’s a generous storage area under the stairs and large closet space.
The townhome also has a “defined” kitchen, dining area, and great room, along with a covered deck, he adds.
“What you want in a townhome, we thought about it, and we have it.” Logel says.
Quick possession condos are now available in the first building at Walden Place, and townhomes will be ready for occupancy in June.
The second building of condos at the development is expected to have possessions in spring 2018.
Walden Place is located on Walgrove Cove S.E., and its sales centre and show suites are open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
