Melcor’s Sunset Ridge unveils its latest show homes
New show homes are shining a light on attractive options offered in the next phase of a community on the north side of Cochrane.
Sunset Ridge by Melcor Developments is unveiling its latest show home parade with models by Excel Homes and Jayman Built on Saturday at noon. Each builder has two single-family homes with a front-attached, double-car garage displayed on Sundown Terrace.
To get to the community, travel Cowboy Trail north from Highway 1A to Sunset Boulevard.
“This new phase is ideally situated within walking distance of both the new school and the community’s popular Central Park,” says Catharina Mendonca, marketing manager at Melcor. Last fall, RancheView School, for kindergarten to Grade 8 students, opened in Sunset Ridge.
Sunset Ridge boasts an eyecatching 2.6-hectare pond surrounded by two hectares of park space.
The new phase is also “steps from the new linear park we are completing this year, which will feature an outdoor exercise circuit,” says Mendonca.
“Homebuyers can choose from lots backing onto the pond, level lots and walkout lots.”
In the current phase, both builders are selling on walkout lots backing onto a linear park from the low $500,000s. Jayman also builds on interior lots from the $420,000s. In both cases, the prices include the lot and tax.
Jayman’s show homes are its Clarion and Lauren models. The Clarion has four bedrooms on its second level and measures 2,044 square feet, while the Lauren is three bedrooms and 2,542 square feet. The Lauren show home also displayed an additional bedroom and bathroom in the developed basement.
Excel’s show homes are the 2,377-square-foot Kingston and the 2,015-square-foot Campbell. The Kingston is a four-bedroom plan and the Campbell has three.
The community also has existing show homes by Homes by Avi and Landmark Homes. Show homes in Sunset Ridge are open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
