Real hope springs eternal

Re: Small glimmer of light in Weaver’s pipeline stance, Opinion, June 14

I am glad for the insights of Don Braid in his latest column. Yes, B.C. governance can be a problem for Alberta but the Green Party leader is also pragmatic and therein real hope lies.

And I agree with Premier Rachel Notley’s vision of value-added economics by processing our own crude oil and upgrading our refineries.

Why should Albertans always be stuck as mere hewers of wood and drawers of oil until the end of time? Joel Duncan, Calgary
