The Calgary Flames and GM Brad Treliving have been busy this off-season. Here’s a recap of moves they’ve made so far:

June 17 — Trades for Arizona Coyotes’ No. 1 netminder Mike Smith in exchange for UFA netminder Chad Johnson, unsigned prospect Brandon Hickey and a conditiona­l third-round draft pick.

June 21 — Lose D Deryk Engelland in the NHL Expansion Draft

June 23 — Draft Tri-City Americans D Juuso Valimaki 16th overall.

June 24 — Acquire D Travis Hamonic from the New York Islanders along with a fourth-round pick in either the 2019 or 2020 NHL draft in exchange for the Flames’ first and second-round picks in the 2018 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in either the 2019 or 2020 NHL Draft. Draft C Adam Ruzicka (109th), RW Zach Fischer (140th), RW D’Artagnan Joly (171st) and LW Filip Svenigsson (202nd).

June 26 — Provide qualifying offers to RFAs C Sam Bennett, RW Micheal Ferland, G Jon Gillies, RW Garnet Hathaway, D Brett Kulak, C Curtis Lazar, G David Rittich, C Linden Vey and D Tyler Wotherspoo­n. Do not qualify RW Alex Chiasson, D Ryan Culkin and C Kenney Morrison

June 27 — Free agent RW Spencer Foo commits to signing.

June 29 — Sign RW Kris Versteeg to a one-year, US$1.75million contract. Acquire G Eddie Lack and D Ryan Murphy from Carolina Hurricanes along with a seventh-round draft-pick in 2019 in exchange for D Keegan Kanzig and a sixth-rounder in 2019, with the ’Canes retaining 50 per cent of Lack’s salary.

June 30 — Place LW Lance Bouma and D Ryan Murphy on waivers for purpose of buyout. Sign D Michael Stone.
