Inspired by the lavishly decorated tents and hospitality of the Bedouin tribes, Nick Livaditis named his company Bedouin Suites when he opened the extended stay accommodations in 2010.

Its first home was on two floors of the Solaire tower on 4th Avenue at 8th Street S.W., which became a welcoming address for visitors.

Following completion of Vogue, Livaditis has relocated and expanded Bedouin, to four floors of customized suites in the downtown tower by LaCaille Group.

Like his suites at Solaire, the new units at Vogue provide stunning views and elegant accommodation, with access to a variety of amenities.

Livaditis opened his Bedouin office on the ground floor of Vogue, near the tower’s imposing 10-storey archway entrance. Guests have use of the business centre and can relax in the foyer facing 6th Avenue.

The office is home to operations manager Anne-Marie Chapman, who has years of experience in the residential and vacation property market, and Sharon Jones, who before joining Bedouin in 2011 was the station manager for Canadian Pacific’s Rocky Mountaineer.

Bedouin’s fully furnished units, featuring granite countertops, in-room washer/dryer units and stainless steel appliances, are spread over floors 22 through 25. Unfurnished suites are also available for longer stays. Balconies provide commanding views of downtown and beyond. Two large penthouse patio areas, a sky lounge, meeting rooms and Vogue’s 3,000-square-foot fitness centre and yoga studio are also available to guests.

Livaditis said clients started arriving in May and he is already almost fully occupied.
