Cardel Homes boasts a spacious show home in Shawnee Park
What stands out when touring the four new single-family show homes by Cardel Homes in Shawnee Park is the developer’s commitment to living space for the important stuff. Kids’ rooms are big, there’s space to manoeuvre piles of clothes in the laundry room and the kitchen is large enough to store all the necessities while making it easy to cook and socialize.
That doesn’t mean other places are economized — the master bedroom remains a spacious place, many of the closets are walk-ins and there are places to gather in groups, such as the bonus room and great room.
While the two-storey Savin isn’t the largest floor plan on display, its 2,623 square feet are laid out in such a way that feels more expansive than it is. Its layout includes a front-attached tandem three-car garage, three bedrooms upstairs and more potential in the unfinished basement.
The front door and the garage door have access to a large walk-in closet next to the front foyer for storing outdoor gear. A half-bathroom is next to the closet.
