Comedy with a view
The Carmichael Show, which critics likened to Norman Lear’s 1970s comedies for its focus on social commentary, was officially cancelled last month. But the penultimate episode Low Expectations airs tonight. Bobby( Lil Rel Howe ry) decides he wants to go to college, and Maxine (Amber Stevens West) defends his decision — but has a hard time when she learns what career he’s pursuing. Jerrod Carmichael (the show’s creator), Tiffany Haddish, Loretta Devine and David Alan Grier also star. (NBC)

It’s a new episode of this drama set at a Florida nail salon: Fallout. Desna (Niecy Nash) becomes desperate to get out from underneath Uncle Daddy’s (Dean Norris) thumb, while Bryce (Kevin Rankin) drifts deeper into the Dixie Mafia. Polly (Carrie Preston) reunites with her former gold-digging friend, and Quiet Ann (Judy Reyes) gets into a mess. (Bravo)

Season 13 of the cooking competition continues with the episode Holy Cannoli. The chefs prepare dishes for a roomful of guests using the guests’ own ingredients. The losing team prepares cannolis in the pressure test. (CTV/Fox)
BOTCHED
The reality show devoted to extreme plastic surgeries gone wrong continues its fourth season. The newest episode, Sticky Nipples and Paparazzi Nightmares, centres on a mother of two who has no choice but to duct tape up her breasts. Also, a young nurse has her nose ravaged by a nasal file and a D-list celebrity wants to get an A-List nose. (E!)
