HERITAGE HILLS LAUNCHES LAST PHASES WITH MOUNTAIN LOTS

- JOSH SKAPIN

It’s down to the home stretch for a master-planned community on the west end of Cochrane.

Home sales come to market Saturday in the opening releases for the final two phases of residential development at Heritage Hills by Highfield Land Management.

With this release comes the launch of one new show home each from the community’s builder group, Stepper Homes and Trico Homes.

“Phase 4 and 5 is the most anticipated release of Heritage Hills,” says Yayoi Dobransky, marketing co-ordinator for Highfield. “The area is surrounded by picturesque views of the Rockies.”

Phase 4 is planned for a 0.95-hectare park and Phase 5 is earmarked for a future school site.

Dobransky calls the community a “hidden gem,” and says its latest release comes with a “variety of family-valued products.”

On the attraction for buyers, Dobransky says, is that many people appreciate having easy access to the mountains, where camping and other outdoor pursuits are a quick drive away.

Heritage Hills is now 85 per cent built out and will have 741 homes once it’s done, the developer says.

The lot release and show home launch will be celebrated with an event including food trucks and giveaways starting at noon.

In the new phases, single-family homes with front-attached garages are available from the $460,000s and ones with detached garages and rear lanes start from the $340,000s. Then there are paired homes from the $340,000s.

There are also townhomes inthe community from the low $300,000s. In all cases prices includes the lot and GST.

Trico is building in the laned and front-attached garage singlefamily segments and Stepper is active in each of the community’s home styles.

The Heritage Hills release marks Stepper’s debut building paired homes. These have a single frontattached garage and are available in four floor plans.

The show homes, both two-level models with a front-attached two car-garage, are located at 3 and 7 Heritage Heights. They’re open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Stepper’s show home is the Hillside. This 2,334-square-foot model comes with four bedrooms as a standard but is available in a three-bedroom option, which is what’s displayed in the show home. The show home also presents an additional bedroom in the developed basement.

The main level is centered by a U-shaped kitchen that opens to a large den. The dining area and great room sit side by side along the rear-facing wall and there’s a soaring open-to-above feature in the foyer.

Trico’s home is the 2,200-squarefoot Hudson, which has three bedrooms on the second level and a fourth in the developed basement. The second level takes on a winged effect with an expansive bonus room separating the front-facing master bedroom from the two secondary bedrooms. Its main level boasts an L-shaped kitchen that opens to a dining area and spacious great room along the back wall.
