Sunday: St. Michael’s Anglican Church, 709 - 7th Street in Canmore, will begin a yearlong celebratio­n of its 125th anniversar­y. The celebrator­y service will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by an ecumenical coffee hour to which all local churches are especially invited. Nov. 17 to 19: The Wisdom Centre and St. Laurence Anglican church hold workshops at St. Laurence church, 5940 Lakeview Dr. S.W. Brandan Roberstson — an author, pastor, contemplat­ive activist, who is described as one of the most hope-inspiring young Christian leaders — will focus on inclusion, spirituali­ty and spiritual growth. Nov. 18: Christmas Charity Bazaar at Robert McClure United Church, 5510 - 26 Ave N.E. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include an 11:30 a.m. fashion show featuring the World-Serve Thrift Store, unique gifts, handmade crafts, bake tables, pie orders, perogies and cabbage roll sales, and much more. Nov. 25: Join us for the 23rd annual Deer Park United Church turkey supper and silent auction. This is a fabulous opportunit­y to support the Deer Park Community.
