‘UNIQUE’ HOMES AT THE TIMBERS
Sales launch on back-to-back townhomes offering ‘high quality for an affordable price’
People in the market for a townhome in northwest Calgary have an affordable new option at a development in Sherwood.
The Timbers by GableCraft Homes is branching out with a pre-construction sales launch of back-to-back townhomes starting at noon today.
Back-to-back townhomes attach on one or two sides, depending on their location within the block, and at the back. Prices start from the $280,000s.
“It’s a very unique idea” says Jenn Fong, media specialist for GableCraft.
This six-townhome release is the first of its kind at the Timbers, with the rest being a conventional townhome format.
This back-to-back release offers two three-level floor plans, with the interior option measuring 873 square feet and the end units at 948 square feet. Interior options have one bedroom and a den and end units come with two bedrooms.
They each include a single-car attached garage, deck and full landscaping.
“I think (potential buyers) will love the layouts,” says Fong. “GableCraft prides itself on the craftsmanship and thought behind its floor plans and the fixtures and finishes that go into them. So it will be a high-quality product for an affordable price.”
There are 11 conventional townhomes also currently available at the Timbers. This segment starts at $359,000, with four three-storey floor plans ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 square feet.
These have two or three bedrooms and a single or two-car tandem attached garage.
People interested in exploring the look and feel of these townhomes can visit the three show homes that are open at the Timbers.
Fong says the development is “adjacent to community pathways that run along a picturesque environmental reserve and a future school.”
“The Timbers also offers maximum convenience with great access to amenities and major roadways.”
The development is located on Sherwood Boulevard N.W., putting residents a quick drive to major arteries such as Shaganappi Trail, Sarcee Trail and Stoney Trail. It’s also near multiple major retail complexes, with the closest being Beacon Hill Shopping Centre, anchored by a Costco.
Within Sherwood, it sits across the street from a school that’s under construction and expected to open in autumn 2018. It’s for students from kindergarten through Grade 9 and part of the Calgary Catholic School Division.
The sales centre and show homes for the Timbers are open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
