For years, the artist whose real name is Ladan Hussein hid behind her stage name and then a second fake name, Al Spx. With her latest album, Fool’s Paradise, the singer-songwriter is much more comfortabl­e getting personal on songs like “Exile,” which features her mother reciting a prayer. Wednesday: Tanya Tagaq

Thursday: Kid Koala with DJ Jester
