Dec. 10: At 10:30 a.m., the Unitarian Church of Calgary, 1703 - 1 Street N.W. is holding its Christmas Pageant, an adaptation of The Little Christmas Tree, directed by Michael Leboldus. It is a story of a little tree which is not chosen to be taken home by a family and the community around the little tree then coming together to bring comfort, joy and ultimately belonging.

Dec. 16: New West Symphony and Chorus is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for its seventh annual Christmas concert — Christmas With New West. Experience the magic of Christmas through beautiful and heartwarmi­ng music at 7:30 p.m. while enjoying the wonderful venue of the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Mondays: Diamond Way Buddhism Calgary hosts a short Introducti­on to Buddhism talk at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month. Regular Monday night meditation evening then begins at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost. Location is 7628 Elbow Dr. S.W. (The entrance is on the breezeway behind Starbucks.)
