Police are looking for a man they believe was involved in the sale of a gun used in a fatal double shooting in a grocery store parking lot last May.

Colin Reitberger, 23, and Anees Amr, 26, were gunned down in front of shoppers at the Real Canadian Superstore on 130th Avenue S.E. on May 21.

Police charged Christian Joffre Ouellette, 20, with two counts of first-degree murder last June.

Now, investigators are looking to speak with a man who may have been involved in selling a gun to Ouellette just days before the shooting.

The man, who goes by the name Tyson, is believed to be an associate of Ouellette. Acting inspector Paul Wozney of the major crimes unit said investigators would like to speak with anyone who knows Tyson or anyone who may have information about the gun deal.

Police believe at least one other person was involved in the transaction. Investigators are also continuing to look into the accused’s movements immediately after the shooting.

Police are looking for a red Dodge Durango SLT, likely a 2004 to 2006 model, which is believed to have been used to drop the accused off at a gas station at 70 Freeport Blvd. N.E. following the shooting.

They are also looking to speak with a man who had a conversation with the accused at Nose Hill Park following the shooting. He is described as Caucasian with a goatee.
