Don’t second-guess jury’s verdict

Re: “Putting justice on trial,” Feb. 12.

Having been a jury foreman, I can attest to how diligently jurors stick to only the facts presented in court. Personal opinions and cultural biases have no place in the deliberati­ons.

Justice is blind and so should politician­s be.

Had someone criticized our verdict, the entire process would have been disrespect­ed and discounted.
