Friday and Saturday: Romantic Rachmaninoff with Luca Buratto The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s Valentine-themed concert is a double homecoming of sorts. Buratto, the 2015 Honens Laureate, returns to the scene of his triumph. He is joined by conductor Hans Graf, the CPO’s music director from 1995 to 2003. Sunday: Serena Ryder, with Begonia Ryder’s latest, Utopia, is informed by the Cherokee legend of the Two Wolves, which holds that good and evil are at war within each of us. Tuesday: Tribute to Louis Armstrong Betty Lou’s, the literary-themed speakeasy, uses its weekly jazz night to pay tribute to Louis Armstrong.
