Okotoks community unveils three new show homes

A new show home parade is giving people in the market for a singlefamily home a fresh look at what’s available in Ranchers’ Rise.

The master-planned Okotoks community by Bordeaux Developments is launching a new lineup of show homes, with one model each by Baywest Homes, Sterling Homes and Broadview Homes today. A family-friendly event to celebrate the new show home lineup will run on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

“We’re very excited about this launch,” says Ryan Hall, vicepresident of marketing and communications for Bordeaux Developments. “It’s our first new show home parade in three years, and I know the builders are excited to introduce new models to the market."

The show homes — located on Ranchers View — include, from Baywest, the 2,453-square-foot Weston, the Aria by Broadview Homes at 2,417 square feet and the 2,504-square-foot Beaumont 4 by Sterling Homes.

They each have a double car front-attached garage. The Aria and Beaumont 4 have four bedrooms above grade, and the Weston has three bedrooms above grade.

Homes in the community start from the $490,000s, including the lot and GST. They’re available on lots that measure 36, 38 and 42 feet wide. The 42-foot wide home sites back onto a scenic community water feature.

Architectural styles in the community include Tudor, French County, Farmhouse, Craftsman, and in its current phase, a Prairie style has been introduced, says the developer.

“It’s a unique location that has a wonderfully open feel, and really offers something of a slower pace," Hall says. “Families that have moved here from other Okotoks communities were searching for a more peaceful location to raise their children, as certain areas of Okotoks, although vibrant, are more hectic with the retail power centres and density.

“Ranchers’ Rise offers a bit of breathing room, by being a step off the beaten path,” he adds.

The community is located on the east end of Okotoks, accessed off Milligan Drive.

Show homes in the Ranchers’ Rise community are open from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
