-

A toddler was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition Tuesday after what EMS say was an accidental injury. EMS spokesman Adam Loria said paramedics responded to a northwest Calgary community around 1 p.m. Tuesday and transported the child to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

“EMS can confirm that an accidental injury occurred in (a) private residence,” a statement said.

Calgary police said they also attended the call to assist paramedics. One police car remained in front of a home in Bowness shortly after the incident.
