November 3 and 4: Woodcliff United’s 28th annual Global Festival will support outreach projects like Habitat for Humanity. In addition to hosting the Ten Thousand Villages Market, there will be fun and free children’s activities that the whole family can enjoy on Friday night from 7 to 8 p.m. after the sale ends. Supervised drop-in children’s activities will be available Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. so parents can get some shopping done, too. A Children’s Market, Owl’s Nest Books, and the Global Cafe will be open for the entire event, so it’s a great way to feel good knowing that your purchases are supporting fair trade practices. November 3: Southwood Church women are holding their Old-Fashioned Christmas Tea and Bazaar from 1 to 4 p.m. Come shop in the country store for homemade baking and preserves and at the craft table for truly amazing crafts; then enjoy tea sandwiches and dainties.
