40 firearms stolen from Kinuso store

Mounties are searching for suspects after 40 firearms were stolen from a hardware store in northern Alberta Tuesday. Police said two males and two females, pulled up to the Kinuso Mercantile in a truck at around 5 a.m. and smashed through the glass doors. Once they gained entry, the thieves, who were wearing gloves and masks, stole approximat­ely 40 shotguns and rifles, Faust RCMP said in a Wednesday news release. Police said the four were in and out of the store within five minutes, and also made off with various electronic­s and clothing items. Kinuso is approximat­ely 300 kilometres north of Edmonton.
