A great but often unknown need

-

The new Veterans Food Bank has been in operation for almost three weeks. Long story short, a friend became aware of an 85-year-old Korean War veteran with almost no food and $6 left for the rest of November. A quick phone call to the Veterans Food Bank resulted in food and $100 being dropped off at his home. One of his best gifts ever. They would have given him more funds if they had them.

Is there a need for a Veteran’s Food Bank? YES. Many veterans are too proud to ask for help. They believe that someone else always needs the help more than they do. Many army veterans have involuntarily gone without food for long periods before during times of conflict.

Please support the Veterans Food Bank.
