As we enter week eight of self-isolation, many of you might be nearing the end of your streaming queue. But some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are hitting the small screen with some very intriguing projects.

Here are some titles you should check out this month.

HOLLYWOOD

Netflix (debuted May 1)

Ryan Murphy takes a trip back to the golden age of Tinseltown in this ensemble drama that follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-second World War Hollywood.

PROP CULTURE

Disney+ (debuted May 1)

Film historian/prop collector Dan Lanigan reunites iconic movie props with the filmmakers, actors, and crew who created and used them in some of Disney’s most beloved films.

BILLIONS

Crave (May 3)

Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) see their vicious rivalry reignited, while new enemies rise and take aim.

DISNEY GALLERY: THE MANDALORIA­N

Disney+ (May 4)

Executive producer Jon Favreau and the cast of The Mandaloria­n return to take viewers for a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the first ever live-action Star Wars TV show.

JERRY SEINFELD: 23 HOURS TO KILL

Netflix (May 4)

In his first original special since 1998, Jerry Seinfeld is back with a standup set that features his observatio­ns on everyday life.

THE EDDY

Netflix (May 8)

Directed by the Academy Award winner, Damien Chazelle makes his first foray to television with a Paris-set musical drama that finds an American (André Holland), trying to keep his struggling jazz club afloat as his personal life undergoes an upheaval. Cold War’s Joanna Kulig co-stars.

Crave (May 10)

Based on Wally Lamb’s bestseller, the family drama follows the troubled relationsh­ip between identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey. Mark Ruffalo stars with Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine), writing and directing.

A CONFESSION

Britbox (May 12)

Based on a true story, the British crime drama features Sherlock star Martin Freeman as a detective pushed into a life-changing choice between following police protocol and catching a killer as he hunts for a missing woman.

THE LAST NARC

Amazon Prime Video (May 15)

This four-part docuseries examines the 1985 murder of DEA Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, which was dramatized in Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico.

THE GREAT

Amazon Prime Video (May 16)

Elle Fanning stars as Catherine the Great in this dramatic look at the rise of longest reigning female ruler in Russia’s history.

THE LOVEBIRDS

Netflix (May 22)

Originally set for a theatrical release last month, this romcom casts Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani as a couple headed for splitsvill­e who suddenly find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery.

SPACE FORCE

Netflix (May 29)

The Office’s Greg Daniels and Steve Carell reunite for a workplace comedy about the people creating Space Force, a new branch of the U.S. military tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon.
