Venice film fest set for September

The Venice Film Festival is set to go ahead in early September, with several restrictions in place. The annual event, held from Sept. 2-12, will feature fewer films than usual and social distancing measures will be in place inside theatres. The 50-film lineup will be announced July 28. Venice will be the first major film festival to be held since the pandemic shutdown in March.
