Enjoy big city life while tucked away in nature in the new community of Creekview

Shane Homes offering both laned and paired homes in southwest location

One of the best things about the new southwest community of Creekview is its natural, serene beauty that comes from being tucked into the Pine Creek Valley, with environmental reserve land surrounding it on three sides.

For Shane Homes, which is offering two homebuying options in the first phase of this just-launched neighbourhood, serenity is key, whether for buyers of its remaining 15 paired homes or its 14 laned homesites in the current phase, says Aleaha Cole, Creekview area manager for the home builder.

“With more than 25 per cent of the community designated as environmental reserve, residents can enjoy natural beauty right at their doorstep,” says Cole, adding that the community is still close to multiple retail options and has easy access to Calgary’s recently completed ring road.

Kalida Manarin, marketing manager for Westcreek Developments, developer of the 50-hectare (122-acre) community bounded by 210th Avenue and Macleod Trail, says many residential developments offer nicely manicured park spaces, but Creekview is “100 per cent defined by getting into nature. It’s out your back door. Natural reserves surround you; you walk through the creek valley, not just a park.”

The Sirocco Golf Club is right next door and Westcreek will be adding 1,000-plus trees to the ones already in the community. An additional 24.2 hectares (60 acres) of internal greenspace will connect to neighbouring park space in what Manarin describes as an enclave community.

Cole says Shane’s residences in Creekview will have an estate feel, with beautiful exteriors featuring stone and oversized front porches.

The quick-selling options include two-storey, threebedroom, 2½ bath paired homes with 1,656 square feet to 1,732 square feet of living space, priced in the upper $500,000s.

A selection of two-storey laned homes, priced from the low $600,000s, range from three bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms to a fourbedroom, three-bathroom option. The floor plans range from 1,457 sq. ft. to 1,800 sq ft.

In addition, Shane’s Love It or Customize It program allows personalization based on individual lifestyles, whether to the floor plans themselves or through extensive interior design options. There are more customization opportunities available for the laned homes. As well, one- or twobedroom secondary suites are allowed in both the paired and laned homes.

“This provides the option to either generate additional rental revenue or accommodate multi-generational living, which has become increasingly popular,” Cole says.

She anticipates diverse buyers, with the laned homes appealing to young families and first-time purchasers while the paired homes might attract empty nesters or those seeking additional space.

Cole says pricing is still advantageous not only for Calgarians, but also for outof-province investors looking for opportunities in the city’s thriving real estate market.

Creekview show homes are expected to open in late fall, but Shane Homes show homes are available for viewing in nearby Legacy. To learn more, visit shane homes.com/communities/creek-view.
