Montréal is a blend of pleasant contradict­ions. A theatre of war and heartbreak, the metropolis is also a place where peace treaties were signed. It is French, British, Indigenous, new-Canadian and all of these at once. In a Montréal with resilient traditions lives a centripeta­l force that attracts novelty with its light.
