Respectful reconciliation

Ry Moran’s article titled “Rights and Reconciliation” in the June-July 2017 issue is, in our opinion, in the top ranks of the most outstanding articles we have ever read in Canada’s History and its predecessor, The Beaver.

His conclusion that “mutually respectful relationships ... [between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples] is the path for real reconciliation to occur” is a message filled with wisdom.

It would be great if schoolchildren in Canada could read Moran’s paper.
