The Ride to Conquer Cancer draws a large number of participants in four provinces each summer. Riders range in abilities, but share the drive to raise funds for a cause, cancer reseach, that means so much to so many. Quebec’s event is smaller and younger than Toronto’s, and gives participants a chance to do a pointto-point ride starting in Montreal. Camp is set up (tents, food, music and massages are provided) in Trois-rivières, giving everyone a spot to rest before setting off on Day 2 of the ride to the finish in Saint-augustin-deDesmaures. The Ride also has events in B.C. and Alberta.
