The Growling Beaver Brevet combines riding for a cause with the tradition of randonneuring, challenging participants to 40-, 100- or 200-km courses on a mix of rail trails, gravel and paved roads. As per tradition, riders check in at points along the way. At check-ins, there is also entertainment and locally made fare. The fundraising supports the Davis Phinney Foundation and Parkingo Wellness Society, which help people with Parkinson’s live well and explore the role of exercise in slowing the disease’s progression.
