I’d be remiss if I left you without some bath recommendations. In Finland, Helsinki’s Löyly is a lovely waterfront escape. In Turkey, a visit to the 434-year-old Çemberlitaş Hamami is a must, and in Japan, the outdoor baths at Otaki-no-yu and Sai-no-kawara in the onsen town of Kusatsu are some of the finest in the country.
