MAKES 2½ CUPS HANDS-ON TIME 15 MIN­UTES TO­TAL TIME 15 MIN­UTES ¼ cup salted but­ter 2 cups panko bread crumbs ½ cup grated Parme­san or pecorino cheese 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme In non­stick skil­let, melt but­ter over medium heat; cook panko, stir­ring of­ten, un­til light golden, about 5 min­utes. Trans­fer to bowl; stir in Parme­san and thyme.
