MAKES 2½ CUPS HANDS-ON TIME 15 MINUTES TOTAL TIME 15 MINUTES ¼ cup salted butter 2 cups panko bread crumbs ½ cup grated Parmesan or pecorino cheese 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme In nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat; cook panko, stirring often, until light golden, about 5 minutes. Transfer to bowl; stir in Parmesan and thyme.
