Motivation of the month BUY NOTHING DAY
Conceived in Vancouver almost 30 years ago by Canadian artist Ted Dave, Buy Nothing Day is an international day of protest against consumerism, with more than 65 countries now participating in the annual event. Observed the day after U.S. Thanksgiving—a.k.a. Black Friday—buy Nothing Day is meant to draw attention to the problem of overconsumption. This year, on Friday, November 27, join the movement to consume less, and produce less waste.
