How to per­form

Pinch the flat sur­face of the plate, avoid hook­ing the edges with your fin­gers. Squeeze as hard as you can un­til your grip fails and you are forced to drop the plates. This ex­er­cise can be done sta­tion­ary or walk­ing.

PUR­POSE AND BEN­E­FITS:

to build grip and fore­arm strength to help with many ob­sta­cles in a Spar­tan Race such as the mon­key bars, plat­inum rig, her­cules hoist, rope climbs, z-wall (and other climb­ing ob­sta­cles) and farmer car­ries.
