Strength is important to being a complete athlete. You need to be strong from your ankles through to your neck. Working on all your muscle groups allows you to become a stronger and less injury-prone athlete. Seeking the advice of a physiotherapist early on in training is beneficial in helping to identify imbalances and proper exercises to correct them.
