Barkley Mad

SHARON CROWTHER is a Scottish/Canadian writer currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She runs most mornings in the Bukit Kiara jungle, where she likes to imagine the long-tailed macaques are cheering her on. They’re not, they’re just after her snacks. Someday she hopes to see a woman finishing the 100-mile Barkley Marathons, just to prove Lazarus Lake wrong when he says women are “too soft” to finish the race.
