Robbins’ Barkley training schedule is all about the elevation.
Early in his training he’ll aim for 8,000 m per week, which is 10 reps of Grouse Mountain. Midway to Barkley he’ll be targeting 10,000 m per week, which is 12 reps of Grouse Mountain and at the peak of his Barkley build-up he’ll be running 12,500 m of elevation per week, which is 15 reps of Grouse Mountain.
And he’ll be carrying an 8 lb. bag.
