Robbins’ Barkley train­ing sched­ule is all about the el­e­va­tion.

Early in his train­ing he’ll aim for 8,000 m per week, which is 10 reps of Grouse Moun­tain. Mid­way to Barkley he’ll be tar­get­ing 10,000 m per week, which is 12 reps of Grouse Moun­tain and at the peak of his Barkley build-up he’ll be run­ning 12,500 m of el­e­va­tion per week, which is 15 reps of Grouse Moun­tain.

And he’ll be car­ry­ing an 8 lb. bag.
