Glacier National Park

-

Glacier is a land of extremes and full of natural splendour: deep valleys and soaring peaks; legendary snowfalls that blanket lush old-growth forests; and vast, intricate cave systems, including the limestone tunnels of Nakimu Caves. It’s also steeped in cultural history, the site of Canada’s first foray into alpinism (based out of the historic Glacier House hotel) and famed Rogers Pass, a shortcut through the northern Selkirk Mountains and focal point for completing Canada’s nationwide railway and highway.
