It is with heart­felt sad­ness that we an­nounce the death of Frank, who passed away peace­fully at home on Satur­day, June 27, 2015.

Born in Syd­ney, he was the son of the late Agatha O’Brien and Wil­liam Penny.

Frank is sur­vived by his wife, Gail (Atchi­son) Penny, and chil­dren, Am­ber (Adam) Ly­man; Kingston, Chad (Anna) Penny, Ot­tawa, and his grand­chil­dren, the joy of his life, Avery, Chase and Madi­son. He is also sur­vived by his sis­ters, Brenda MacKil­lop, Julie (Cal) Morstad, Cal­gary, Lynne (Wayne) Lines, Amherst; and brother, Paul (Va­lerie) O’Brien, Syd­ney; along with many nieces and neph­ews.

Frank worked in telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions for many years. He en­joyed NASCAR, camp­ing, wood­work­ing, and pho­tog­ra­phy. He was a kind and com­pas­sion­ate man with a won­der­ful sense of hu­mour. He was a true gen­tle­man and will al­ways be re­mem­bered for be­ing an amaz­ing hus­band, fa­ther and grand­fa­ther.

In keep­ing with Frank’s wishes, there will be no fu­neral ser­vices. There will be a cel­e­bra­tion of life with fam­ily and friends, Kingston, Ont.

78, New Water­ford

With bro­ken hearts we an­nounce the pass­ing of Eve­lyn Flem­ing on Wed­nes­day, July 1, 2015, at the New Water­ford Hos­pi­tal.

Born in Cheticamp, she was the daugh­ter of the late Joseph and Mar­garet (Au­coin) Muise. Eve­lyn was a long­time res­i­dent of Pel­lett Av­enue, New Water­ford.

Eve­lyn was a loyal and con­tribut­ing mem­ber of the New Water­ford Pen­sion­ers Club. She en­joyed her card games, club nights, dart league, fid­dle mu­sic, watch­ing her favourite sit­coms and drink­ing her tea. In her younger years, she trav­elled a lot with her daugh­ter and grand­chil­dren and loved to go shop­ping with them, it was her favourite pas­time. Eve­lyn shared many sto­ries and laugh­ter with her fam­ily and friends. She was em­ployed for many years at her brother’s store, Muise’s Di­ary on Plum­mer Av­enue.

Eve­lyn is sur­vived by her hus­band of 59 years, James Flem­ing; daugh­ter, Margie Legere (Rick); son, Jimmy (April); grand­chil­dren, Troy, Keera, Austin, Ai­den; great-grand­chil­dren, Kaylie, Tyler, Jayce, Evan, Aleena, Everly; sis­ter, An­nie Mae (Ray­mond) MacKen­zie, New Water­ford; and her brother, Pa­trick, Ot­tawa.

Be­sides her par­ents, Eve­lyn was pre­de­ceased by her two broth­ers, Bernie and David Muise.

Cre­ma­tion has taken place. A fu­neral ser­vice, of­fi­ci­ated by Rev. Ray Hunt­ley, will take place on Sun­day at 1 p.m. in V.J. McGil­livray Fu­neral Home, 380 Smith St., New Water­ford. In­ter­ment to fol­low in Mt. Carmel Ceme­tery.
