Deaths of three men tied to pre­vi­ous shoot­ing: po­lice

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. — Po­lice are say­ing the deaths of three men in a res­i­dence south of Mon­treal are con­nected to a shoot­ing north of the city that left two peo­ple in crit­i­cal con­di­tion. A po­lice spokesman said to­day the two in­ci­dents are linked and pos­si­bly the re­sult of a fam­ily dis­pute. A man in his 50s and a 30-yearold woman were shot around 6:30 p.m. Thurs­day in the of­fice of a law firm in Ter­re­bonne. Of­fi­cers then dis­cov­ered the bod­ies of the three men just in a Boucherville home that had been set ablaze. Author­i­ties say traces of a fire ac­cel­er­ant were found at the scene. Longueuil po­lice were con­tacted by a woman fear­ing for rel­a­tives in the red-brick, semide­tached home.
