It is with great sad­ness that we an­nounce the sud­den pass­ing of John Fran­cis ‘Frank’ Sul­li­van, age 69, of Balls Creek, for­merly of Kempt Head, on Thurs­day, July 2, 2015, at his home.

Frank was born at North Syd­ney, on Jan. 24, 1946, he was a son of the late Eu­gene and Mary Cather­ine (Shin­ners) Sul­li­van. He was em­ployed with Marine At­lantic as a steve­dore for 35 years un­til his re­tire­ment. He was hard worker through­out his life, he en­joyed clear­ing land and burn­ing brush and also loved to cook. He loved be­ing out­doors and spend­ing time in the woods and was an avid hunter and fish­er­man.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Dorothy (Young) Sul­li­van; his son, An­thony Sul­li­van, at home; daugh­ter, San­dra (Arthur) Trenchard, Syd­ney; grand­daugh­ter, Jil­lian Trenchard; his two broth­ers, Bert (Carol) Sul­li­van, North Syd­ney and Keith (Deb­bie) Sul­li­van, Mill Creek, also by a num­ber nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Be­sides his par­ents, he was pre­de­ceased by his son, Brian in 2001; a sis­ter, El­iz­a­beth Evaniski; a brother, An­thony and sis­ter, Col­lette in in­fancy.

Vis­i­ta­tion for Frank will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sun­day in the W.J. Doo­ley Fu­neral Home, 107 Pleas­ant St., North Syd­ney. A fu­neral mass will be cel­e­brated 10 a.m. Mon­day at St. Joseph Church, North Syd­ney with Rev. Vern Boutilier of­fi­ci­at­ing. Cre­ma­tion will fol­low and burial in Holy Cross Ceme­tery, North Syd­ney at a later date.
